The name “Senn” is derived from the character for “immortal,” which combines the characters for ‘person’ and “mountain.” We chose this name with the hope that our place would become a meeting point between people and the natural world of the mountains. Nestled in the quiet embrace of the mountains, we offer an experience where you can unleash your senses and connect with nature.

屋外には広々としたウッドデッキが設けられており、目の前には大杉谷川の清らかな流れと、深い緑に覆われた山々の風景が広がります。また、サウナを備えており、迫り出した窓から外の景色を望めば自然の中へ溶け込むような感覚に。部屋数も多く、グループやファミリーでの滞在、企業合宿など幅広い利用に対応。一棟貸しでのご利用時には愛犬との宿泊も可能となっております。

Outside, a spacious wooden deck offers views of the clear flow of the Osugidani River and the deep green mountains stretching before you. A sauna is also available, where gazing out through the expansive windows creates a sense of melting into nature. With numerous rooms, it accommodates a wide range of stays, including groups, families, and corporate retreats. When renting the entire building, stays with your beloved dog are also possible.

下里ご宿泊の方限定で、ウッドデッキで楽しめる屋外BBQセットも提供可能です。道具や食材が揃った“手ぶらBBQ”のほか、持ち込み食材による自由な調理もお楽しみいただけます。
ジビエを使用した料理のオーダーも承っております。

For guests staying at Shimazato, we also offer an outdoor BBQ set for use on the wooden deck. Enjoy a “hands-free BBQ” with all equipment and ingredients provided, or cook freely using your own ingredients.
We also accept orders for dishes featuring game meat.

We offer a breakfast featuring the bounty of the satoyama, including locally foraged wild vegetables, locally grown Koshihikari rice, miso soup made with local miso, and homemade pickles.
